Warren G. Green

Lecturer of English

​Warren Green brings years of acting and playwriting experience to the classes he teaches in drama, playwriting and English composition at Dominican. He studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and acted in off- and off-off-Broadway productions in New York. He was invited to be a playwright-in-residence at the Minneapolis Playwrights’ Lab, and his plays have been produced by a number of professional, community and college theatres, including the Guthrie Theater, the Ashland Oregon Shakespeare Festival and the Children’s Theatre of Minneapolis lab series. While still in residence at the Playwrights’ Lab, he began his graduate studies at the University of Minnesota, eventually receiving his master’s and doctoral degree in theatre with an emphasis in Scandinavian drama and the structural analysis of literature.
