Dominican University alumnus Berto Aguayo co-founded the nonprofit Increase the Peace shortly after graduating. A skilled communuty organizer, he has launched a number of initiatives to build Black and Brown unity, including a peaceful protest in Little Village and a food pantry in the Back of the Yards neighborhood in which he grew up.
