Honorary Degree Recipient Lonnie Bunch Appointed Leader of Smithsonian

Lonnie G. Bunch III has been appointed as the first African American and the first historian to oversee the Smithsonian Institution's 19 museums and galleries in Washington, DC. Bunch received an honorary degree from, and served as the commencement speaker at, Dominican ​in 2018.
