Brennan School of Business Launches Evening BBA

Tuesday, August 21, 2018

Dominican University is introducing this fall a new evening bachelor of business administration (BBA) program which will allow students to pursue their studies while working full-time. The program, which is designed for students who already have an associate's degree, includes three majors—finance, management and marketing.

The Evening BBA is offered through an innovative mix of fully online, blended and in-class courses, which will require students to be on campus only a few nights each week. Students proceed through the program in a cohort of other highly motivated students, using the same curriculum and faculty as Dominican's Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)-accredited traditional day program.

The program is designed to be completed in two years, including two summer terms, and provides access to the same career development resources, including one-on-one coaching through Dominican's Executives-in-Residence program, which brings to campus business leaders for mentoring with students.

All students receive individualized guidance in resume writing, networking and interviewing. Students' skills also are enhanced through an entrepreneurship practicum, a required internship and a capstone experience.

The Evening BBA uses the same relationship-centered approach to business education as the traditional day program, with small classes and dedicated, caring faculty.
