John Jenks

John Jenks has been at Dominican University since 2000, teaching courses on journalism, media law and ethics, race and religion in the media, American mass media history, propaganda and persuasion in the mass media, radio and television, and the history of globalization. He started the journalism major at Dominican and serves as the adviser to the Dominican Star student newspaper. Jenks worked as a newspaper reporter for several years in Wichita, KS, and Sarasota, FL. His academic research has focused on propaganda, media history, and war and the news media.
