Al Rosenbloom has a strong interest in exploring how corporate social responsibility, social entrepreneurship and marketing intersect when businesses operate in the least developed countries in the world. He was a 2001 Fulbright professor of marketing management at Kathmandu University in Nepal, and a 2007 Fulbright Senior Scholar at the Tsenov School of Economics in Svishtov, Bulgaria. For more than 25 years Rosenbloom has run A & R Consultants, a marketing management consulting firm that works with small- to mid-sized businesses.
