Thursday, September 13, 2018

Marilyn Jancewicz, the recipient of the 2018 O'Keefe Outstanding Volunteer Achievement Award, recently was profiled in the Forest Park Review.

Marilyn has devoted countless hours of volunteer time to her alma mater, serving on the President's Advisory Committee, the School of Education's Advisory Committee and the planning commitees for the 40th and 50th reunions of her Class of 1964. She also  spearheaded the establishment of endowed scholarships on behalf of her class.

As a staff member in the School of Education, Marilyn was involved in placing teacher candidates in field positions at area schools. She also enjoyed a long career as a teacher in several local schools.

This fall, Marilyn will be volunteering in Dominican's McGreal Center with Sister Janet Welsh. You can read the Forest Park article here.
