Brennan School of Business Hosts MBA Students From Chile

Wednesday, July 25, 2018

‚ÄčThe Brennan School of Business is hosting a group of MBA students and administrators from Pontifica Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso (Chile) from July 22-29. The visit is the result of a student exchange program that was established between Dominican and the Chilean university last year.

As part of the exchange program, undergraduate students will have the opportunity to visit each others' business schools for semester-long stays. MBA students will be hosted by each school for one-week immersion programs in an effort to broaden their international business knowledge and cultural awareness.

Brennan MBA students visited Chile's PUCV last summer. The PUCV students are attending a series of lectures during the morning and visiting Chicago corporations, nonprofit organizations and cultural attractions in the afternoon. Included in the schedule are visits to the McDonald's corporate headquarters, Information Resources, Inc., the Chicago Board Options Exchange, PNC Bank and the Federal Reserve Bank. They are also visiting the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and meeting with officials of the U.S. Department of Commerce and the Illinois Trade Office. Visits to the Art Institute of Chicago and Navy Pier are also included.
