No, wearing red doesn't make you hotter

Wednesday, May 10, 2017

A research study back in 2008 found that men who see women in the color red rate them as substantially more attractive. A similar study conduted in 2010, with women rating men, rendered the same results. Most recenty, our own Dr. Robert Calin-Jageman along with Gabrielle Lehmann found that this may not be the case. Their study repeated the strongest experiment from the 2008 study, as closely as possible, having university students and online participants rate the same photos. Results showed little to no effect for either gender. So neither men nor women had a preference for the color red. Not only did Dr. Bob perfect past research but he shed some light on why the other studies produced the results they did.
