Black History Month at Dominican

​Dominican has been celebrating Black History Month with a variety of events and activities taking place on campus.​

On Thursday, February 23, the department of theology is sponsoring a lecture by William George and Anthony Suarez-Abraham titled "Slavery and the Catholic Social Tradition: Past Failures, Present Responses." The lecture will be held in the Martin Recital Hall from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

The annual African/African American Heritage Reception will take place in the Social Hall on Friday, February 24 from 7 to 11 p.m. The event is sponsored by the Rosary College of Arts and Sciences, Black Student Union and Alumni Relations.
