Wednesday, December 7, 2016

Father Brendan Curran participated in an interfaith vigil on December 1 at The Chicago Temple at First United Meethodist Church in Chicago, held in the wake of a rising number of hate crimes targeting communities of color following the presidential election. Faith leaders came together to affirm their connections and to embrace the common values upon which diverse faith traditions are founded.

Christian, Jewis, Muslim and Sikh faith leaders assured all immigrants that they would stand in solidarity with them to protect their rights.

The event was covered by many newspapers, including the Punjab News Express. Read the entire article here.
