Jill Albin-Hill featured in CIO Review

Monday, November 28, 2016

Jill Albin Hill, vice president of information technology, wrote an article about the role of the CIO in a special edition focusing on education in CIO Review (October 12, 2016). In "Think Beyond the Department," Albin-Hill wrote that CIOs should focus on getting out of the basement--literally, figuratively and strategically--and break down barriers in order to be a bridge with varous university departments.

"The changing role of IT means that the CIO must lead the way by getting out of the office, be in relationship with others and be business savvy while striving to learn the work of various departments. Only then can technology solutions be effective or make a difference," she wrote.
