Pope Francis needs to do more than kiss the disabled

Professor David Perry wrote an essay on how the Catholic Church can be a better advocate for disabled persons. Perry is a disability rights advocate and his columns and essays explore themes of injustice in that community. He talks about how it's important for the Catholic Church to offer substantial support and acceptance for indivduals with disabilities as oppose to approaching the problem in a superficial way.
