Aliza Steurer

Assistant Professor of Mathematics

Aliza Steurer has been teaching at Dominican University since 2006 and has worked with students as the advisor for Kappa Mu Epsilon (the math honors society) and the Math Club. In addition, Steurer was a 2007-08 Project NExT (New Experiences in Teaching) fellow. Project NExT is run by the Mathematical Association of America and supports new mathematics professors. She is currently advising an undergraduate research project on semigroups. Her academic research has focused on number theory and algebra. At Dominican, Steurer is currently a member of the Diversity Committee and the Study Abroad Committee.
